Supporting the Methodist e-Academy

The running costs of the e-Academy amount to €950 (£800) per student per semester. They include the costs of transport and accommodation at block seminars and an introductory seminar at the beginning of the programme. Students, particularly those from Central and Eastern Europe, are not in a position to pay such fees as would cover these expenses. To make up the shortfall the e-Academy has raised starter funding from various Methodist churches and organizations. However, in order to continue its ministry it requires sustainable sources of income.

You can help by providing funds for a scholarship. An annual scholarship of €1 900 (£1 600), along with other funds that have been raised, enables us to cover the annual cost of education for students studying with the Methodist e-Academy. Such funding empowers us to train Methodist pastors to lead churches, proclaim the gospel, lead programmes of social welfare and development, while at the same time equipping the members of their congregations to become agents of personal and social transformation. Your gift towards a scholarship can thus make a dramatic impact on the lives of many people; it will contribute to the continuing transformation of society through sharing the message of Jesus Christ in word, example, and action.
